Tracy Spiridakos
Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actor from Canada. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010, she appeared as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's show Majority Rules! From 2009-2010, she starred as Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution from 2009-2010. It was a post-apocalyptic science- show. The show was nominated for win a Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. Annika Johnson played her character in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Since the year 2017, Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. Spiridakos is the character Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos and George Spiridakos, both of whom were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two siblings. The family moved to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta just after her birth. In 1992 the family came back to Canada. She is strongly connected to her Greek heritage and is able to speak fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting in junior high school. Later, she attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos moved to Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007. She got her first television role on Supernatural within a matter of weeks. The actress worked on television for another few years, landing parts in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos played the role in the TV film Goblin and the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos was also a part of Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast in her first lead role as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl who appeared on Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! In 2011 she made her feature film debut in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She was also the director of Kill for Me, a low-budget horror film by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy, and was directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags the movie, a Nickelodeon original film. Then she was offered a leading part on the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, the survivalist of the future of a dystopian society. As she attended her first pilot season, she auditioned for the part. Spiridakos made her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. For her performance on the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She was defeated by Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season saw production was moved to Austin Texas.
