Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. Her
most well-known role is her role as Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the City
(1998-2004) where she won five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe
Award nominations, winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
She reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the
City 2 (2010). Cattrall made her film debut in Rosebud (1975) and went on to
appear in several television roles. In films such as Ticket To Heaven (1981),
Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up (85) (also known as City Limits(85), Big Trouble
in Little China [86The Mannequin [86 Mannequin] (1987), Masquerade in 1988),
Midnight Crossing in 1989 and The Return of the Musketeers in 1989, she became
known as a household name. Tribute (1980), Porky's(1981), Turk 182 (85), and
Baby Geniuses(1999) were just a few of her appearances. Her film credits also
comprise The Bonfire of the Vanities (90), Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered
Country(91) as well as Split Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995), and 15 Minutes
(2001), Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess (2006), My Boy Jack (2007). Meet Monica
