Anne W. Burrell is a American chef television personality and ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and is also the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and bubbly personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of dining out, and provides concise easy-to-master techniques for home cooks on her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell is also a part of many of the best eateries in New York, studied the food culture and culinary traditions of Italy, and battled on Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love for food and cooking from a young age.
